- Assistant Professor of Surgery (Vascular Surgery)
Description
The Yale School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified vascular surgeon for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.
We are seeking a vascular surgeon with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, academic inquiry, and the education of future surgeons. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized and collegial team providing comprehensive vascular and endovascular care across the Yale New Haven Health System.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing the full spectrum of open and endovascular vascular surgery care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participating in and contributing to the education of medical students, residents, and vascular fellows
- Engaging in clinical research, quality improvement, and academic activities aligned with the mission of the Department of Surgery.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance innovation and excellence in patient care.
Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board eligible or certified in Vascular Surgery
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, clinical scholarship, and academic advancement
