Genesis HealthCare System has an employment opportunity for a BC/BE Cardio-thoracic surgeon. We are interested in candidates with vision in regard to delivering outstanding patient care, and expanding the program within the Heart, Lung and Vascular group.

Position Highlights:

• Required procedures include coronary bypass, heart valve surgery, TAVR (optional),Watchman,  MitraClips, thoracic, minimally invasive thoracic procedures and EP surgeries.
• 150-170 heart cases per year.
• Physician office located in the hospital
• 2 physician practice
• Heart, Lung and Vascular Team: 11 general cardiologst,3 EP docs, 4 interventionalist, 3 vascular surgeons
• 24/7 inhouse critical care support (all pulm/cc docs)
• 24 bed ICU with designated cardiac beds
• 1:3 call
• Established patient base
