Summary:
Skagit Regional Health is actively seeking additional Neurologists to help expand our rapidly growing outpatient clinic. Highlights:
- Thrive in a collaborative environment alongside our one (1) physicians and one (1) ARNP. Plan to grow the department to 5 providers total. Clinical support staff consists of MAs and RNs and proficient techs.
- This is a full time position with a 36 hour scheduled patient contact hour work expectation with shared weekend call rotation. Provider work mainly in our outpatient clinic with minimal inpatient responsibilities.
- Shared call of 1:4 with no Stroke Call responsibilities. On-Call is primarily consultative with Stroke call handled by Tele-Stroke Neurohospitalists.
- Encounter a diverse array of neurological disorders in your practice. Opportunity to incorporate subspecialty interests to have a more tailored practice.
- BOTOX procedures for migraines, some programming VNS for Epilepsy, and EMGs done in clinic.
- Teaching opportunities exist with Medical Students from PNWU and Residents from our own SRH Residency Programs.
- This is a hospital employed position with support from our in-house primary and specialty care referral base.
- Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available!
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an ACGME accredited Neurology residency program.
- Board Eligible/Board Certification required.
- Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.

- Guaranteed first year salary: $354,595

- Skagit Valley Hospital is a licensed 137-bed facility with a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital features a full range of services including the latest surgery techniques, including multiple surgical robots; renal dialysis; a well-appointed Family Birth Center; compressive diagnostic imaging and an advanced heart and vascular institute with the only cardiac catheterization labs in the area. Our new, state of the art surgery center opened in December 2023, which has offered additional clinic space, outpatient ORs and additional endoscopy suites.
