Description
The Department of Neurology Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) invites applications for a faculty position in the Epilepsy division in Nashville, Tennessee.
VUMC is seeking adult epileptologists to join a busy and expanding epilepsy program. We are a Level IV epilepsy center with strong epilepsy surgery, research, and ACGME fellowship programs. Responsibilities include care of adult patient with seizures and epilepsy, reading outpatient and continuous EEG studies, EMU monitoring, IOM interpretation, and teaching of Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows.
Qualified candidates will be Fellowship trained Adult Neurologists who 1) hold an M.D./D.O. degree; 2) are Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy (ABPN); and 3) hold or are eligible for medical licensure in the state of Tennessee.
The Department of Neurology has over 150 faculty, fellows, and residents spanning ten divisions and five centers and ranks 13th in the nation for NIH funding.
