Summary:
Skagit Regional Health is seeking an Invasive or Non-Invasive Cardiology trained physician to join our well established practice in Mount Vernon, Washington to take over for a retiring physician. Highlights:
- This physician will join an experienced and collegial group of 7 General Cardiologists, 4 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 9 APPs, along with a full complement of clinical support staff.
- This position encompasses the full scope of Cardiology responsibilities including inpatient rounding, reading Cardiology testing results and outpatient appointments. Inpatient activities supported by our strong Hospitalist program.
- This position will require rotation between the main clinic location in Mount Vernon and a satellite office roughly 30 minutes away in Anacortes, WA or Arlington, WA.
- Roughly, 1:6 shared weeknight and weekend call rotation among the physicians.
- Our Cardiology practice has the support of a thriving referral network from our in-house primary care providers, ensuring a substantial patient volume from day one.
- Teaching opportunities exist with Medical Students from PNWU and Residents from our own SRH Residency Programs.
- Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available!
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship program.
- Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology.
- Board certification in Echo and Nuclear Medicine.
- Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before starting.

- Guaranteed first year salary: $573,572

- Skagit Valley Hospital is a licensed 137-bed facility with a Level III Trauma Center. Our new, state of the art surgery center opened in December 2023, which has offered additional clinic space, outpatient ORs and additional endoscopy suites.
