Deep River Healing Arts is a therapeutic massage practice specializing in orthopedic massage, sports massage, pre & post natal care, surgery recovery including mastectomy & top surgery and treatment of chronic pain such as TMJ, migraines and other conditions. We are known for providing highly effective, medically informed massage, customized to each client session. This approach has resulted in a very loyal client base. Currently, we are expanding our practice and looking for talent to grow with us. This position is ideal for someone who is currently working 1-2 days elsewhere but is looking to transition into a completely different environment from a spa or fitness club. 5 years of experience or more is preferred but we are open to people with around 3-4 years of practice if they come highly recommended. This position is also best for LMTs that are looking to be a part of a team of practitioners that genuinely care about their clients, are part of or close to the LGBTQIA+ community, and want to build their skills and clientele.

Requirements

– Licensed Massage Therapist with current registration skilled in the following modalities:

Medical, Deep Tissue & Swedish massage.

– Mature, self-directed and professional.

– Advanced knowledge of anatomy (we will test this).

– Excellent social & listening skills.

– Genuine concern for client wellbeing

– Excellent personal hygiene and attention to their environment.

*AMTA insurance a major plus.
