A hospital in central South Carolina has an opening for a dedicated Pediatrician to assist with locum tenens coverage.

Opening Details:

• Schedule: 24-hour nursery call coverage
• Patient Volume: 2-3 per day
• Must be comfortable attending c-sections
• Circumcisions required
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Pediatrician South Carolina state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Pediatrician program
• One year of work experience as a Pediatrician
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
