Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is motivated, team-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our ophthalmologists to manage pre- and post-operative patients, perform comprehensive eye exams, manage ocular disease, and co-manage surgical cases.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye exams - minimal refractions and contacts fitting (no optical on site)
Diagnose and manage ocular diseases (glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, etc.)
Co-manage cataract and refractive surgery patients
Collaborate with ophthalmologists and technicians for coordinated patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR (EyeMD experience a plus)
Educate patients on treatment plans, eye health, and preventive care

Requirements
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Kentucky
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience in a medical or surgical ophthalmology setting preferred
