Requirements

What You Bring to the Table:

Education & Training:

• MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine).
• Successful completion of a residency program.
• Fellowship training in orthopedic surgery (required unless exempted by OrthoAtlanta’s executive committee).

Credentials:

• Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia.
• Attestation of physician compact.

Experience & Skills

• Strong background in diagnosing, treating, and performing surgical procedures in orthopedic care.
• Outstanding hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to lead with empathy.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
