The Opportunity

The Senior Physician / Faculty Recruiter will serve as a trusted strategic partner to department chairs, division chiefs, and senior administrators — managing full-cycle recruitment for both clinical and basic science faculty as well as non-faculty physician positions across Temple Health.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts — from sourcing and candidate engagement through offer negotiation and onboarding
• Build trusted relationships with academic and clinical leaders to understand department needs and develop customized recruitment strategies
• Source candidates creatively using advanced tools, social media, direct outreach, professional associations, and networking
• Guide candidates and search committees through every stage of the process, ensuring a high-touch, professional experience
• Support data-driven decision-making by preparing reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership
• Contribute to system-wide initiatives that enhance the visibility and effectiveness of physician and faculty recruitment

This role is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys both the strategic and tactical aspects of academic healthcare recruitment, and who finds fulfillment in connecting mission-driven physicians and scientists with institutions that make a difference.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least six (6) years of recruitment experience, including a minimum of five (5) years in physician recruitment (academic medicine, hospital, health system, or life sciences industry preferred)
• Proven expertise managing multiple complex searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of medical and surgical specialties and the nuances of recruiting in an academic setting
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated success using innovative sourcing strategies and recruitment technologies
