THORACIC SURGEON
Kettering Health, located in southwest Ohio, is seeking a thoracic surgeon to join their busy team. The ideal candidate will possess stellar surgical dexterity, exceptional people skills, a robust set of clinical skills, be self-motivated, collegial, and have a willingness to learn.
This is a great hospital employed community practice with a large volume, great partners, excellent collaboration with other specialties, and a supportive hospital administration.
Job Requirements:
- 6-year integrated Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency or General Surgery residency followed by a 2–3-year cardiothoracic surgery residency
- Board Certified/Board Eligible; accepting practicing physicians and new graduates
- U.S. training required
- H1B visa sponsorship available (No J1 visa sponsorships)

o Kettering Health Main | Flagship hospital | Level 2 Trauma
o Kettering Health Dayton Hospital | Level 3 Trauma
Description:
- Hospital employed position
- 80% thoracic | 20% cardiac
- Group cardiothoracic call
- APP support in clinic, surgery, and rounding
- OR – 4 days; Clinic – 1 day
- Clinic is located at hospital
- Critical Care support – 24/7
- Da Vinci Xi robot and Ion robot
