We are seeking a full-time qualified Respiratory Therapist who enjoys working in an outpatient setting for a growing critical care community hospital. Here at Santiam Hospital & Clinics, you will gain a true work-life balance while utilizing all your skills and knowledge in the field of respiratory therapy.

Compensation: $37.54-51.00 (depending on experience) with night and weekend differential

What You’ll Do:

• Perform patient assessments to deliver targeted inhalant treatments.
• Administer medical gases including oxygen, heliox, and nitric oxide while monitoring patients.
• Manage Mechanical ventilation and monitor patients using BiPAP and CPAP. 
• Perform and instruct patients in Chest physical therapies to improve airway clearance and lung function.
• Conduct diagnostic testing, including pulmonary function tests (PFTs), electrocardiograms (EKGs), and arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis.
• Fit and instruct patients on the use of Holter and Event monitors for continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Provide essential respiratory support as part of the C-Section and Trauma teams during emergency situations.
