Join an established team of 6 physicians and 5 APPs
Call structure: About 50-55 nights/year
Practice setting: Inpatient (8-bed CVICU and 14-bed PICU)
Access to Athena/Sunrise EMR, an integrated cardiology network, and 24/7 dedicated subspecialty support
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
Deliver expert diagnostic and therapeutic critical care to pediatric patients within the PICU and CVICU, closely coordinating with cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, and case management to ensure seamless inpatient care and discharge planning.
Drive program development, clinical excellence, and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the expanding pediatric cardiac service line partnership with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care, Pediatric Cardiology, or equivalent experience is required

197-bed pediatric facility (including a combined 22-bed PICU/CVICU, 40 private inpatient beds, 8 short-stay beds, 17 Pediatric ED beds, and a 109-bed Level IV NICU)
Trauma designation (Pediatric Trauma services available onsite)
Serving a population of approximately 2 million in the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area
Integrated referral network encompassing more than 100 highly experienced pediatric specialists across 40 different programs

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
