We invite you to learn more about this outstanding opportunity to join Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI), a national leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment, surgery, and research, providing personalized care to more patients and performing more advanced cardiac procedures than any other cardiac program in Connecticut.Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with training and/or interest in Preventive Cardiology. This position will focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both the in-patient and outpatient arenas, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting.
Position details and requirements:
Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessments and managing risk factors for cardiovascular disease
Develop tailored treatment strategies based on patient specific risk factors
Willingness to learn about management of LDL Apheresis
Genetic counseling for familial history of early onset heart disease
Collaborate with primary care and multiple specialists and ancillary service providers to coordinate care
NBCL certification and/or obesity management is encouraged but not required
Board eligible or board certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and lipid management
