Description
The Anatomy Lab Specialist supports anatomy education at the ISU-Meridian Skaggs Treasure Valley Anatomy and Physiology Labs (TVAPL) by preparing anatomical specimens, assisting with general lab operations, and providing laboratory-based instruction. The Anatomy Lab Specialist will join a diverse team of dedicated lab staff at TVAPL, a shared resource facility supporting health science education in Southwest Idaho and the surrounding region
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Actively participate in laboratory-based human anatomy teaching.
Prepare human anatomical specimens through skilled dissection.
Assist in providing supervision of laboratory assistants, students, and volunteers.
Support general lab operations including inventory management, specimen care, and specimen tracking.
Support surgical training events and community outreach programs.
Assist with the cleanliness and upkeep of the laboratories.
