Southern Medical Group is a mutli-specialty practice consisting of eleven cardiologists, ten internists and thirteen physician extenders. We are committed to provide the highest quality, state of the art health care within our specialty.
Company History
Southern Medical Group was formed in 1988 with the merger of two well established practices. We have experienced exponential growth with over 150 employees. SMG is well known for excellence in healthcare with exemplary physicians and compassionate staff.
Benefits
SMG provides health insurance to all FT employees, as well as short term and long term disability, life insurance. Dental coverage is available at employee's expense. PTO (Paid Time Off) is accrued based on three weeks vacation that includes 5 sick days and holidays. Five CME days are allowed per year with $1,500 CME reimbursement. Employees are eligible for 401K and Profit Sharing following one year of employment with entry dates in January and July.
