Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician in Williamsport, Pennsylvania - Inpatient Only, 7-10 Day Blocks

Built around dedicated call stretches, this cardiothoracic surgery assignment focuses entirely on inpatient and operative care without outpatient clinic responsibilities.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient coverage including surgery, consults, and CVICU post-operative care
• Adult patient population only
• Cases include CABG, valve procedures, ECMO, pacemakers, and thoracic surgery
• APP support available for rounding and weekend coverage

Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage during assigned blocks
• Coverage needs consist of 7-10 day stretches for vacation and holiday coverage
• Daily responsibilities include surgery, inpatient consults, and post-op rounding
• Early morning OR starts with call coverage throughout assigned blocks

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Pennsylvania medical license required
• Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
• ACLS and BLS required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
• Travel accommodations are arranged for assignment coverage
